Jakarta, 24 June 2013 – MAXpower successfully commissioned a Power Plant in Dawai, Myanmar. By utilizing a gas engine from GE Jenbacher, type GEJ 320, the gas fired plant provides electricity in the South of Myanmar. The offtaker of this plant is LNG Plus International (HQ) Ltd.

MAXpower (rental) is providing diesel rental generators to the Middle East market. The Middle Eastern market has been experiencing a shortage in power due to a rapid
increase in construction activities.

Navigat Energy, which was established in 2003 and has a successful track record in providing energy solutions into the market will now be the brand for all distributor related activities.
MAXpower commenced the new year with the simultaneous construction of 6 power plants, most of which will be commissioned before June 2013. The majority of MAXpower’s activities are in Indonesia, however during the H1 2013, MAXpower via its subsidiary MAXpower (Myanmar) will construct and commission its first 50MW project in Yangon, Myanmar.
PT. MAXpower signed 2 BOOT agreements: to develop, build, own , operate and transfer a 16 MW power plant at Langgam (Sumatera) and a 25 MW at Sorong (West Papua).
Gas will be passed through under both agreements, while the electricity will be distributed by PLN to the local market.
